Misión en Jonia

Captain Jack Aubrey receives orders to take charge of the aging and malfunctioning Worcester and join the British Mediterranean squadron attempting to blockade the port of Toulon. As always, he will be accompanied by his close friend Stephen Maturin, surgeon and spy, who must also attend a clandestine meeting on the French coast. After a grueling voyage in pursuit of the enemy squadron, during which the Worcester is nearly wrecked, they manage to reach Toulon once more... But they are unaware that a new and extremely delicate mission awaits them: to find an ally in Ionia to help them expel the French from those waters. The greatest surprise and joy is that, for this purpose, the Admiralty assigns him his beloved Surprise.
