Los sueños y el tiempo

In "Dreams and Time," María Zambrano proposes a philosophical reflection on the dream world that transcends any psychological or symbolic approach. For her, dreams are the most primal manifestation of human life: a state in which the subject, deprived of the flow of time, experiences reality without being able to fully grasp or inhabit it. Through this analysis, Zambrano illuminates a fundamental paradox: it is precisely in deprivation (of time, of consciousness, of self) that the transcendent condition of the human being is most clearly revealed. Awakening is not simply a return to wakefulness, but rather the conquest of time as an essential condition of existence.
