Noches blancas

In Biddista, in the Shetland Islands, an art gallery opening turns into a disaster when a stranger suddenly bursts into tears, claiming he can't remember who he is or where he came from. The next day, Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez finds his body hanging in a fisherman's hut. What initially appears to be suicide is actually the work of a cold-blooded killer, and it soon becomes clear that the root of the crime lies in the secrets of Biddista's past. When a second body turns up, Perez knows he must find the killer before the deaths tear the small, peaceful community apart.
