Dolor de mercado

Carlos has died, and those who loved him most gather before the cliffside he had set aside for them as an epilogue. Among them is Daniel—a writer and artist confined to a wheelchair—who for years has been profiting from the only thing his body still allows him to sell: his imagination and his suffering. As the group attempts to piece together a fractured memory, Daniel writes, dictates, improvises, and manipulates the play, screenplay, or novel that will buy him a few more months of life. By his side is Ramón—musician, lover, and witness—who lives so close to the truth that he can no longer distinguish it.
