One spring night, Nardi, a thoroughly naughty boy (or so he thinks), sneaks into his village church. There he discovers 66 painted dragons that come to life and meets the ghost of the eccentric writer Antoniorrobles, who transforms him into an obnoxiously good boy. But Nardi, with the help of his friend Beni, will try to reverse the spell by facing outlandish characters and the fearsome Iron Dragon, a creature obsessed with manipulating time.
