El monolito de las voces (Lola y Estrella, 1)

Lola and Estrella are two young friends living together on a mountainside—a beautiful, magical place. Estrella possesses a unique gift: the ability to communicate with the mycelium, the very roots of their planet, Matria. The girls lead a peaceful life; when they aren't eating strawberries or playing cards with the gnomes, they visit Queen Goat or check to see if any new books have arrived in the village. But one morning, everything changes. Their valley and their entire community come under threat; strange machines are tearing up the landscape and have just left the gnomes homeless. Neither girl is particularly adventurous, yet they know they cannot simply stand by and do nothing, so they set out on a journey to find answers—a journey that will take them far from home.
