Caza y pesca

Three friends meet every year on the banks of the Yi River in Uruguay to fish and spend a few days together. But when they arrive this time, something seems to have changed. A pair of hunters and their bloodthirsty dog aren't too happy about having to share their hunting grounds with them. From that moment on, the tension in *Hunting and Fishing* begins to increase page by page, as the action accelerates in a plot of savage survival and extreme violence. Rodolfo Santullo, one of the most prominent members of the new wave of pulp literature and the Río de la Plata noir genre, displays in *Hunting and Fishing* a first-rate narrative skill that doesn't detract from the creation of exciting and unforgettable characters, whether for their violence, their naiveté, their wickedness, their clumsiness, or their cynicism.
