Diego, a middle-aged writer mired in a deep creative and existential block, is unable to work in his centrally located Madrid apartment. He decides to escape the urban chaos in search of the silence necessary to write and finds refuge in a farmhouse run by Lucía, a woman older than him. However, the longed-for peace vanishes with the arrival of Lola, Lucía's young and rebellious granddaughter. A complex and unsettling web of tensions, hidden attractions, and generational frictions quickly develops among these three characters, forming a suffocating psychological triangle that destabilizes and challenges the very core of the novelist's masculinity. In parallel, the story takes a dark turn as it intertwines with the work at a mass grave from the Spanish Civil War located in a nearby olive grove. This discovery forces Diego to confront the ghosts of Spain's past and its enduring violence. A terrible event will be the final clash between civilization and barbarism.
