By chance, a man and a woman meet at a bistro bar. Rebecca is suffering from writer's block: inspiration has deserted her, and self-doubt has taken over her life. Lino is a craftsman with a passion for art history, haunted by the ghosts of his past. Inclined to confide in her, he opens up before disappearing into the night. Fascinated by his story, Rebecca sets out to find him, determined to make him the protagonist of her next novel.
