La gente feliz lee y toma café

After the death of her husband and daughter in an accident, Diane has spent a year shut away at home, unable to take control of her life. Her only connection to the outside world is Felix, her friend and partner in the literary café "Happy People Read and Drink Coffee," which Diane hasn't set foot in since. Determined to give herself a fresh start far from her memories, she moves to a small Irish town, to a house by the sea. The inhabitants of Mulranny are cheerful and friendly, except for Edward, her sullen and wild neighbor, who will jolt her out of her lethargy, awakening anger, hatred, and, much to her dismay, attraction. But how can she confront these new feelings? And then, what will she do with them?
