Soldados de Salamina

Towards the end of the civil war, near the border with France, there was an execution of Francoist prisoners. One of them escaped alive, thanks to a young Republican soldier, and was able to take refuge in the forest. This was Rafael Sánchez Mazas, poet, founder of Falange and future Franco minister. Sixty years later, a struggling novelist unearths this war episode and, fascinated by it, sets out to investigate and clarify its circumstances.
