Gotrek Gurnisson bursts into Greywater Keep seeking answers as to why his Fireslayer rune is mysteriously weakening. But finding them in the dark, clogged bowels of the stronghold may prove far more difficult than he anticipated. And with the Skaven sorcerers constructing something deep underground—something that will forever guarantee their dominion over the Skaven world—Gotrek begins to wonder if, instead, he might find what has eluded him for centuries: his own undoing.
