El último gimlet

Suspended without pay, Amador decides to leave the city for a while to clear his head. He's drinking too much, dealing with a recent breakup, and the violent incident with the chief inspector is still being discussed at the police station. His destination is a coastal village where a colleague from the Brigade lends him a house to stay in for the next few weeks, as winter intensifies. Everything goes well for the first few days. Amador tries hard to maintain a structured routine, enjoys the solitude of running along the beach, and reflects on his past mistakes. He thinks he'll soon return to the city a different cop, free from his impulses. But things change when he meets Lola and Ismael, two enigmatic locals who will lead him to make an unexpected decision.
