El complejo Satsuma

Gary Thorn is a thirty-something paralegal at a London law firm. One night, he goes out for a pint with Brendan, a colleague. When Brendan leaves early for home, a girl approaches Gary and starts flirting with him (how unusual!). As Gary orders another round at the bar, the girl vanishes, leaving behind only the book she was reading: The Satsuma Complex. When Gary learns the next day that his friend has disappeared, he realizes something strange is going on. What does the mysterious girl from the pub have to do with it all? And what happened to Brendan? It won't be easy to find out, especially since Gary, in his wacky investigation, will only have the help of his elderly neighbor and a squirrel he likes to talk to in the park.
