“I want to hear Yakumo Yûrakutei perform.” Determined to fulfill this wish, Yotarô, also known as Sukeroku III, gathers a select group of his master's admirers for an intimate performance. There, he enacts a story steeped in memories, moving his master Yakumo and drawing him back to the stage once more. However, someone interrupts the performance with utter disregard for the circumstances… Time marches on, and Yakumo, ever so stubborn, has another opportunity to offer solace through his rakugo in prison.
