La misteriosa pastelería de medianoche

When Yeon-hwa loses her enigmatic and distant grandmother, she inherits Hwawoldang, a pastry shop that has been in her family for generations. The business hasn't been doing well for some time, and she intends to sell it as soon as possible. But an unexpected request changes everything: she must keep the shop open for at least a month, from 10:00 to 12:00 at night. With no other option, Yeon-hwa is forced to get to work. As she learns to make the traditional sweets that were once offered at Hwawoldang, she also hopes to discover something more about the woman who made them. She soon realizes that this is no ordinary pastry shop. The customers who come at those hours are spirits seeking to resolve unfinished business before being reincarnated. The desserts they crave are deeply connected to their past lives, and they trust Yeon-hwa to interpret their desires, just as her grandmother did. With each new visit, Yeon-hwa discovers which flavors live on in the memories of those around her and how to help them move forward. Accompanied by a mysterious black cat that lives in the store, she will also begin to unravel the secrets of her own family history.
