Friends of a Thousand Colors is a story about the difficulties a young boy faces in accepting and integrating into society when he arrives in a new place. Completely different from anything he's ever known, something he initially embraces with enthusiasm, but which eventually turns into sadness, insecurity, and low self-esteem. Ultimately, he and the others come to appreciate the importance of individual differences, which make us all unique and exceptional.
