La generación del 27 y la Residencia de Estudiantes

In 1910, the Residencia de Estudiantes (Student Residence) was founded in Madrid, creating a meeting place for the country's affluent intellectuals. Lorca, Dalí, Buñuel, Severo Ochoa, and Ramón y Cajal, among others, lived and exchanged ideas. The renowned Generation of '27 emerged from this shared experience. This graphic novel portrays this period of coexistence at the Residencia and how the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War in 1936 brought an end to an era of growth, optimism, and cultural expansion.
