Tierra

Starting from the familiar and comforting world of the young reader, Tierra (Earth) leads them to discover the immensity of the world: its beauty, its colors, its sensations. A journey from the closest —the earth beneath their feet, the worms between their toes, the smell of the countryside— to the vastest and most surprising: the cycles of nature, human labor, life that grows and transforms. Following the Montessori spirit, the book neither explains nor lectures: the child observes earthworms, reads footprints, follows bees, contemplates the grape harvest—and thus, through pure observation, discovers that everything in nature is connected.
