This is the story of an adventure. Clara and Francis are in love, but no one knows. For months they've been slipping away from their respective lives, sharing stolen afternoons in hotel rooms, but the time they spend together is as painfully captivating as it is brief. Until one day they wake up in a room neither of them recognizes, with no memory of how they got there. They find themselves in an unfamiliar and strange city: a place where adulterers can live together without hiding, without fear of the consequences, where they can put their theory of love to the test. In this city, the sky above the squares seems painted, an infinite, clear blue. Every morning, fresh fruit awaits them on the table, and at night, the sun sets in rosy glimmers.
