Louisa Herzog-Riggs, a global tennis star, sees her career falter after an injury. To recover, she travels to her godmother Kay's tennis school in Hawaii, determined to return to the courts stronger than ever. But her plan is complicated when, after an accident on the beach, she wakes up on the couch of Vince Greenfield, a charismatic surfer.
