La grieta

Hugo is experiencing his first years of independence in Madrid, where reality sets in and the only thing he can afford is a room in a shared apartment. Routines, roommates who come and go, the daily struggle to pay the rent and escape financial hardship shape his reality. But the privacy and stability he so desperately craves become an impossible mission in a space where no one puts down roots. Paloma, Valentina, Andrés, Natalia, Gabriel, Santiago… all pass through the apartment. With each new roommate, Hugo regains hope and a sense of harmony. He shares plans, laughter, and a sense of complicity with them. However, an unexpected night out will ultimately create a rift in their shared living arrangements.
