La noche de los secretos (Trilogía de la Noche, 2)

Anyone entering this residential area of ​​Alicante, a gated community with private security, spectacular views, and high-end cars, would think that nothing bad could happen behind its high walls. This is what its residents think too, until one early morning, the peace is shattered. Two young men, sons of neighboring families, have been kidnapped, and their captors are demanding a large sum of money in exchange for their lives. They also demand, of course, absolute discretion. But the mother of one of them can't withstand the pressure and secretly turns to Inspector Gabriel Somoza, who takes charge of the case without knowing that it conceals a much more sinister plot: a web of murky secrets and lies that should never see the light of day.
