Mateo Luarte is 15 years old and has zero privacy. That's the problem with living in a house with your parents, your grandparents, your aunt, and your unbearable cousin. He desperately needs his own space, and the only way to get it is by joining his school's exchange program to travel to London and live with another family for a month. But when he arrives in the UK, there's a change of plans, and instead of staying in the English capital, he ends up in Northwood, a small town an hour from London, with a different family: the Green family. There he meets Tom, a boy his own age who speaks perfect Spanish and is incredibly handsome. Little by little, he and Mateo grow closer, thanks mainly to "the band," Tom's best friends, with whom he's formed a band, and who welcome Mateo from the start. Determined to enter the town's annual music festival, the relationship between the two deepens, and Mateo discovers himself along the way.
