Meet Babs, a barbarian thief and also the wielder of Barry, the most useless enchanted sword in the world. In a fantastical world teeming with wizards, dragons, castles, and elves, Babs is determined to make her fortune or, failing that, get drunk and beat the living daylights out of anyone who dares mess with her. However, the arrival of a group of very white knights throws magical obstacles in her path, and our heroine soon finds herself up to her neck in violence, witchcraft, and intrigue. Adding to the fun are an army of the dead, a crew of sex-addicted elves, a geeky orc and his gang of misfits, and the worst knight in the kingdom. But Babs has never shied away from tackling problems with her fists... only to have those problems end up being a hundred times worse.
