Now a minister in Hell, Lady Jing is bored out of her mind. All she wants is to escape Shanghai Yin and spend time with her mortal sweetheart, Tony Lee. So, when a visiting Irish deity turns up boneless and with his qi completely drained, Jing offers to take him to his pantheon's healer in Paris. Accompanied by Tony and his friends Gigi and Ah Lang, Jing plans to turn the trip into an impromptu vacation. But Jing's travels seem to be cursed. The last time she left Shanghai Yin, her hulijing grandmother kidnapped her. This time, vampires hijack her train because her other grandmother has plans for them.
