In Apartments K for Women, a discreet red-brick building in 1960s Tokyo, the lives of its tenants unfold according to clear rules and immutable routines. Until the only key capable of opening the building's 150 doors disappears. From then on, the tranquil coexistence begins to reveal its cracks, and a simple turn of the key threatens to bring to light old grudges and secrets that seemed definitively buried.
