Masnavi : Las enseñanzas de Yalaluddîn Rumi

The Masnavi inspires a love for the divine. Such is the power of the magnum opus of Al-Haluddin Rumi (1207-1273), a Persian-born poet and Sufi master better known as Mevlana (our master), who settled in Konya, in present-day Turkey, where his mausoleum is located. It is not simply a poetic, philosophical, or metaphysical work; it is all of these things and much more. There is a technique, practiced in Sufi circles, that consists of opening the Masnavi at random and reading the story to which it is opened. Many people attest that this technique has often provided them with answers to situations they have encountered in their lives, or has acted as a mirror reflecting aspects of their soul that need to be worked on.
