Tratado de aguas

As is known, water can serve as a metaphor and symbol for practically all things. Not in vain, the human body is above all water. Poetry, as a way of contemplating life, of feeling it in its slow drift, is also poured out drop by drop, from a time clock that stands invisible. In this collection of poems, where water becomes the transit of all the springs and the hope of all the oases thanks to patiently decanted verses, Teo Serna draws up a record, drinks the water or waters inexplicable plants with it in order to meet Monet, Rembrandt or Turner. Water that also becomes a mirage, but ultimately as real as the eye of the lighthouse in the storm: half mist, half light, with its murmur always in the background, like the blood that flows without rest in the arteries.
