La pastelería de los nuevos comienzos

An-Chun, a student adrift in life, decides to go to Japan on a work-holiday visa. In Kyoto, he finds a job at a centuries-old pastry shop, a place filled with sweet aromas where, almost without realizing it, he falls in love with Emiko, the owner's daughter. But the romance fizzles out before it even begins, and An-Chun returns to Taiwan heartbroken and without direction. There, his mother encourages him to help his great-uncle Lin, the owner of a traditional pastry shop struggling to survive against the Western bakeries encroaching on the town. Working alongside him, An-Chun discovers Lin's passion and determination to keep the traditional recipes alive, as well as the old heartbreak that marked his life and is intimately linked to the shop's fate. For the first time in his life, An-Chun feels an inner calling. Will he be able to save the shop from closing and ease the burden Lin has carried his entire life?
