Lutano

$ 22.95
Rosina, a young film student, leaves Madrid with a suitcase full of shattered dreams to return to her village, Rodiezmo de la Tercia. Located on the natural border between Asturias and León, nothing there is what it seems. The fences are bed frames, the cow troughs are old bathtubs, and the scarecrows are broken CDs. The echo of the war's explosions remains trapped in the mountain that casts its shadow over the village, an imposing and totemic figure from which a dark, dense fog rises, advancing menacingly through the valley, knowing itself to be cannibalistic: the Lutano. One afternoon, as the Lutano descends, a man walks naked and bloodied from the crags toward the village. His arrival will shake the foundations of the community.
