Brooke dreams of a movie-like life. That's why she moves to New York, hoping to land a job at a fashion magazine. She also fantasizes about meeting the mysterious Ryan Blake, the film director of her favorite movies, to whom she dedicates an anonymous blog where she analyzes them frame by frame. Ryan has always shunned the red carpet. He prefers the privacy behind the scenes, so he rarely appears in public. This is why Brooke can't believe it when they bump into each other —literally— in a Manhattan coffee shop. But some stories have to go off-script. Although she arrived determined to focus on her career, Brooke has to admit that she's attracted to both the man and the director she admires so much. She also realizes that if she wants this story to work, she'll have to reveal her secrets to him… and discover who Ryan Blake really is.
