Rosemary Harper isn't quite sure what to expect from the crew of the spaceship Wayfarer. Life aboard Wayfarer is chaotic and wild, exactly what Rosemary is looking for. But it's also about to become extremely dangerous when they're offered the most lucrative job of their lives: drilling wormholes across the galaxy to connect distant planets. In deep space, the small Wayfarer will face a myriad of problems and adventures in which the crew will learn to trust one another. If Rosemary wants to survive, she'll have to learn to trust this amalgam of strange companions, an experience that will teach her that maybe having a family isn't the worst thing that can happen to you in the universe.
