Tariq Geiger has surrounded himself with some dangerous friends. Barney, his two-headed wolf, lives with the trauma of the fateful night Geiger found him. And his new partner —a former Nuclear Knight inspired by Geiger's heroic deeds— is trying to atone for a life of unbridled violence and brutality. Geiger and his companions leave their home in Boulder City behind and travel the radioactive highways of the former United States in search of a cure for the Bright Man's nuclear disease. But to get the information they need, Geiger and his companions must face a multitude of threats that pursue them.
