There are many things Nash hates about himself. The first is his shyness. The second is that, because of his height, he finds it especially difficult to blend in. If he were invisible, his life at school wouldn't feel like hell. Everything changes when he meets Eleanor, president of A Free Friend, the association for all the students who, like him, feel like they don't fit in. Eleanor is always smiling and has made it her mission to teach Nash how to enjoy life. He has a wounded heart and doesn't trust anyone anymore.
