El secreto de Villa Carlotta

In 1848, Lake Como was the most exclusive destination in Europe. It was also the destination of Carlotta, the eldest daughter of Prince Albert of Prussia and Mariana of Nassau, who had settled in a villa in Tremezzo with her mother and sister after her parents' divorce. Carlotta struggled to fit in and sometimes felt suffocated. On the night of her first ball, she abandoned her entourage of admirers and met a very attractive young man in the gardens. Although he seemed to be the only one who understood her, he frequently behaved insolently toward her. One night, wandering through the villa, Carlotta found the diary of Elena, a young servant who was the protagonist of a tragic story.
