Most of the heroes we know are extraordinary beings with magical powers and a cape billowing from their shoulders. But there are also heroes of flesh and blood, as human as you and me, who sometimes make mistakes and other times achieve great things. Galileo Galilei was one of them. His powers were an enormous desire to understand the world, a great capacity for observation, and tireless work. Thanks to these, he laid the foundations of modern science, based on proving theories with evidence and experiments. This is how he discovered that the Earth revolves around the Sun and demonstrated laws of physics and mathematics that are still valid today. This was the feat of Galileo Galilei, and this is his story.
