Madrid, 1963. Standing before the window of the most iconic toy store on Gran Vía, Inés dreams of stepping inside that place that awakens children's wonder and adults' nostalgia. But above all, she longs to hold a doll like the one her neighbor Candela, the owner's granddaughter, has. However, little Inés knows that this world doesn't belong to her; she's just the doorman's daughter. When their paths cross, an unexpected yet unbreakable bond will blossom between them. A friendship that will find refuge in that toy store for decades, during which they will have to confront family secrets, difficult loves, and the tensions of a country marked by repression and injustice.
