El marino que perdió la gracia del mar

Noboru is a thirteen-year-old orphan who lives with his widowed mother, the manager of a prominent fashion boutique in Yokohama. He and his friends are good students, but that doesn't stop them from forming a troubled gang with peculiar ideas about existence and honor, life and death. Noboru witnesses his mother's relationship with Ryuji, a sailor whom she portrays as heroic and praises to her friends. However, little by little, but inexorably, Ryuji falls out of favor with the boy and the group of teenagers, who find only one drastic way to redeem him.
