Entre amigos

Amos and Emerson have been friends for over thirty years, and the bond between them is unbreakable—or so they believe. Amos is a psychiatrist, Emerson a successful businessman. Both live in New York and represent a near-perfect portrait of life in their fifties: their daughters have grown up together, their wives get along well. The two families, children included, are preparing to spend a quiet autumn weekend at Emerson's magnificent house outside the city. Little by little, however, tensions arise, old grudges resurface, unresolved issues between them… perhaps dating back to their teenage years. A misstep by Emerson will cause the atmosphere to sour and the impeccable veneer covering these two wealthy families to begin to crack. As anger and envy simmer, everyone will have to reconsider their loyalties and convictions.
