Youth Group

Kay arrives at Stone Mission Church as part of a deal with her mother: attend the youth group in exchange for being able to apply to universities in New York. What seems like a wasted afternoon of hymns and snacks turns out to be the gateway to something much stranger: a secret demon-hunting squad operates beneath the church, and Kay has just discovered she's immune to possession. To the demons, that makes her a threat. To the group, a miracle. Exorcisms in teenagers' bedrooms. Impossible alliances between evangelists, Wiccans, and warrior nuns. An enemy that doesn't negotiate, doesn't rest, and has been winning for far too long. The '90s were never so dark, so fun, or so apocalyptic. Some battles are won with faith. Others, with sarcasm. And some, only when you stop fighting against who you are. Because sometimes the end of the world comes at the worst possible moment. And sometimes the only person who can save it is the one who least wanted to be there.
