Fiesta con casuario

Turin, early summer. Isa, a university student studying Philosophy and Literature, celebrates her birthday party at her parents' villa with a garden. Classmates, old friends, friends of friends, acquaintances, and a few others who manage to sneak in attend. Isa eagerly awaits Ezio's arrival, but he is delayed. Meanwhile, they find an anonymous gift with a disturbing note: "If no one touches the cassowary before one o'clock, Ezio will die." From then on, the group of friends sets out to solve the mystery. Is it a joke? Who sent the message? What on earth is a cassowary? And why is there one right next door? During the party, Isa and her friends react in different ways. Everything seems to converge on a specific place, time, and moment, a precise and fateful instant. By asking who would be foolish enough to cross the fence and touch the cassowary, Leonardo San Pietro sketches misgivings and hesitations, anxieties and worries, creating unexpected tension and suspense. The mysterious cassowary test unleashes a game of disguises and revelations during a special stage of life—the university years—when one crosses the boundary that leads to "reality."
