Ana Rossetti (San Fernando, Cádiz, 1950) is one of the most renowned poets in contemporary Spanish poetry. Versatile and bold in her writing, she is known for her constantly evolving literature. Eroticism and irony marked "Los devaneos de Erato" (1980), "Indicios vehementes" (1985), and "Yesterday" (1988). In "Devocionario" (1986), she explored the formation of her worldview and her initial approach to poetic language through the codes of the Catholic religion. Later, his verse became more reflective with the profound meditation on love in "Punto umbrío" (1995) and the metapoetic exercise of "Llenar tu nombre" (2008), and in his latest works, "El mapa de la espera" (2010) and "Deudas contratos" (2016), he has raised his voice against the social injustices and violence that plague the world today.
