In Barcelona in 1941, under the yoke of Franco's regime and with the Nazis entrenched in the city, young Melisa Arranz enters the service of the Llebrera family. Everything seems to be following the predictable path of a humble girl until one afternoon, at a dance, she meets a man who will change her life forever.
