Second half of the 21st century... Humanity, on the brink of extinction due to various problems, embarks on an ambitious space exploration program. Approximately a century later, the new threat to the humans who have ventured into space comes from unknown creatures known as "space beasts." To combat them, weapons in the form of power suits, known as AIGIS, are created. And the soldiers who protect the colonists with these machines become true heroes in the eyes of the population. Amidst all this, Ryu, who works in an AIGIS factory, leads a modest but happy life with his son, Leo.
