It could be said that the only address Luna Holloway is certain of right now is the one on her GPS: Dumont Secondhand Bookstore, New Orleans. After leaving behind the life her parents had planned for her, Luna decides to take over a small bookstore. Her job will consist of cleaning, organizing, and giving the little shop a facelift—or so she thinks. To her surprise, the place is inhabited by some very unique beings: an imposing, immortal black cat, a sarcastic fairy who lives between the pages of a storybook, and the melancholic (and irresistible) spirit of a musician whose jazz is always playing in the distance. However, she soon discovers that the bookstore is in grave danger of disappearing. To save it, Luna must understand that magic can open doors, but it's the bonds we create that help us walk through them.
