Los reyes de Kearny

Jakob Larson is going to be my downfall. That's what I think every time he strides into my bar. The Kings of Kearny control this small Texas town, and Jakob is their chief enforcer. The Viking, they call him. He's as dangerous as he is attractive, the kind of man who awakens my wild side and makes it pay attention. I wouldn't mind giving in to his desires just for one night. Unfortunately, Jakob has other plans for me. He needs me to find out who in town is breaking the Kings' rules, and every time I think I've figured out what's going on, Jakob reveals another piece of the puzzle. I have to decide how far I'm willing to go, because if I fall for him, I'll never have peace again. Although, truthfully, Jakob makes me think that peace is overrated, and that descending into darkness with him might lead to something even better than a happy ending.
