Every night, Monica sees the moon from her window. Suddenly, she thinks she would like to have it and asks her father to get it for her. Dad tries very hard to get it until he climbs a long ladder to the top of a high mountain and finally reaches the moon. “Wait until I get smaller and you can take me with you,” the full moon tells him. When Monica gets the waning crescent moon, she is happy, but little by little the moon disappears…
