Amazonas : Las reinas guerreras

The world of the Achaeans is about to change. Rumors of a great conflict, arriving from distant Troy, loom on the horizon. But before war erupts, another must be fought by the heroes. Alcides, whom everyone will soon know as Heracles, has received one of his most difficult tasks: to steal the symbol of power of the Amezans, the girdle of Queen Hippolyta. To do so, he seeks the help of his old friend Theseus, King of Athens. Their target will be Themyscira, the great city of the Amezan people, now defenseless, temporarily inhabited only by its women. Or so the proud Achaeans believe... A warrior woman from this land is worth as much as a man when it comes to defending her homeland. And among them are names that will resonate through time: Queen Hippolyta and the invincible Melanippe. Yet, this is not their story, but that of their younger sisters, Antiope and Orithyia. They will be the ones forced to face the decline of their people and who will fight to survive. It won't matter, not even, that the naive Antiope is kidnapped and taken to Athens by Theseus. Because what the king hasn't imagined is that nothing can separate those who share the same blood. Orithyia will not abandon her sister, even if she has to make a pact with all the nomadic tribes of the steppes to raise an army. An army with which to destroy Athens.
