A man bursts into a daycare center, shouting in a foreign language and brandishing a knife. Is it a jihadist attack, an act of madness, or perhaps revenge? For Julio Parcas, the disgraced journalist from El Liberal, it will be his chance to return to the front page and regain control of his life. Meanwhile, Carmela Frisas, the ambitious far-right deputy mayor, seizes upon the tragedy to stir up unrest in the streets, all while trying to uncover who betrayed her, implicating her in a corruption case. At the same time, Teodoro Yáñez, an elderly widower who fears loneliness and has witnessed the horror, could change everything. Over the course of a frantic day, Julio will have to choose between truth and survival. It is in his hands to save the city from burning with hatred. And to achieve this, he will have to become what he once was: a good journalist.
